Sharepoint
A real stride forward in the way we communicate with each other within the department, wider council (and in the near future Knowsley schools also) is with the decision to move to Microsoft Sharepoint. The main advantage of this is system is that you can share information and documentation very easily.
The Council’s intranet system has been rebuilt using this technology and our team are developing and leading the way forward for the Department.
e-Learning
Message directed to Knowsley based teachers… We are now at an interim period before we start to BETA-test an e-learning platform which will enable you to seamlessly access your e-learning resources. The majority of schools have been issued usernames and passwords and given the relevant website addresses to access their content. This website can be used as a temporary one-stop shop, to access selected free content and also to access the websites which many of you have subscribed-to this year. If schools would also like a copy of their username and passwords then could you please contact the E-Communication and Procurement Team on 0151 443 4768/4769.
