Spirit of the Jaguar - Brazil

During the summer of 2005 a group of friends travelled to the Jaguar Ecological Reserve in the Pantanal region of Brazil. Our friends, the explorers, travelled as eco-tourists to see the fantastic wildlife of the area including the majestic jaguar. On arrival, they found that much of the surrounding land is under threat from big landowners who want to drain the wetlands and raise cattle.

Fire & Ice - Iceland

It is 10 years ago since Damian Allen took an expedition of 22 students from Oldham to Iceland . The whole expedition was an overwhelming success for all concerned and bred a desire to return in the future – it's taken 10 years to make the commitment to return!

Spirit of the Dragon - China

In the summer of 2006, schoolchildren from Knowsley in the UK and Nanning in China will participate in a series of joint activities to celebrate the friendship agreement between the two cities. The activities begin with an exchange visit by 15 Chinese students to Knowsley organised by the Lee Kai Hung Foundation.
