25th April - 11th July 2008 – Off The Rack
Come and see the finest examples of clothing and costume all from the museums own collection. This exhibition gives visitors a chance to see items rarely on view to the public. Items on show date from the 18th century right up to the 1960’s.
19th July – 18th October 2008 – The Way We Watched
Do you remember the Wooden-tops? Did you used to Watch with Mother? Who was you favourite flump? If these are questions you often ask yourself, come along to this latest exhibition to find out some more. Exploring children’s television from the 1950’s, to the 1990’s, this exhibition has something for everyone.

This is an exhibition of weird and wonderful models of ideas submitted to the Patent Office over the last 150 years. Ever wondered what a machine for smoking 2 cigarettes at once would look like? Are you looking for a device to stop soup getting in your moustache? This is the exhibition for you!
